DCB 24 Extreme

Had one, I liked it. It was/is a 24 extreme, double step with an Hp500. RDP member Bocco owns it now. Should have kept it.

Nice boat I ran with Bocco on hookie day Friday boat ran strong.

Not sure if I think it really hits 81mph. Mine gets 74 at 5100 with the same prop.

I think I remember the OP had a 525sc (possibly rebuilt and bumped to 600HP). Winspeed (Adam) has the 525sc (Whippled 454) in his and it does low 80's with 4 people. He has done i think 87 with a light load (he may have changed the rev limiter). When he gets time, he is going to try and tweak it to get over 90 in it.

Those seats under the bow are completely torn up. Those seats are useless anyway. Even a short person can't sit in them without hitting their head. I took one out of mine and replaced it a space for an ice chest and some storage. I'm getting rid of the other one as soon as I figure out what to put in it's place.

I think the bottom is close to a 23 Eagle XP.

Mine has 1.50 gears and a 26P prop. I want to try a 28 but can't find one to demo.

What kind of power are you making. I just ran a 4b 28p bravo a couple weeks ago on a 1.5 ratio behind my 247xs and couldn't spin it behind 425hp. Was only able to get up to about 36-3700 rpm.
