President Trump said he would listen to both sides but is interested in ending "Daylight Savings Time" OR, either everyone On or OFF it.

You know it doesn't actually change how long the sun is up, right? Farmers can still do that while the sun is up.DST is because of the four Seasons, and getting more work done.
Tilling, planting, harvesting etc? You know the stuff that oh, IDK, ah keeps us all alive. Growing. Food.
In case anyone hasn't noticed. It's cold AF in Winter. Having the sun earlier is nice. Baby Grace loves her morning spot facing South. Nice to have, here in West Texas in Winter.
Plus! Added Bonus! I can get my ancient crippled up ass out earlier to work on my broken infernal combustion fleet of ancientness.
I love long Summer evenings. Same thing but in reverse.
It's hotter than hell in West Texas. It nice to have more daylight to go outside and cool off before Dark Thirty.
Long evening rides towing my dog's on my Scooter in the park. Or vica versa!
Dominate.
That's not an issue in the southern states but even with DLST kids walk to school in the dark in the northern statesYeah, I get it. The world turns. It's the humans that fuck it up.
Ok now do the Emo kids walking to school in the dark. All dressed in black in the crosswalk, in the split second they look up with the pale faces before SPLAT !°°!
I thought Prop 7 was voted on in 2018 ? Prop 7 allowed the state legislators to vote either to pick either standard or daylight savings time and stop switching back and forth. The state has the power to vote for 100% standard time, similar to AZ and Hawaii, but to switch to 100% DST, Congress must pass it.The California voters voted to stop daylight savings in California in 2020 but the politicians didn't care so we still have it

Personally, I don't give a shit either way![]()

Either way -- '18 or '20, as we've learned, voting for something and actually accomplishing anything are not one and the same. The only thing that vote could have accomplished without federal intervention is to remain on Standard Time 100% of the year.It might have been 2018
