Proud parent moment/adventure. You can be sad sometimes, but be proud all the time!

Nice. My son graduated there 4 years ago. We loved Baltimore, although it has some rough parts. The Inner Harbor is great & Hampden has some great places to eat that's nearby.

Wow, congratulations dad!

That is some hard work and dedication no doubt.

Best thing a parent can do is set their child up with best opportunities to thrive. Obviously you did something right.
I am enjoying watching my children nurture their own lives and families and it is more satisfying than anything I imagined.

What is her end goal?

I just brought my daughter home from 4 years of college. Let me prepare you now. My daughter was 4.0 GPA in High School, hadnt kissed a boy yet and a basic nerd so she wasnt going in full party mode already . Year 1- She Got hit on by girls that wanted to turn her BI, got drunk off her ass and puked her brains out swearing to never drink again. Year 2- found a BF and he cheated on her so she was over that, started vaping weed and going to parties. Year 3 she finally got her car brought up to College. She found better friends and I spotted a couple bongs in the background of her pics. Year 4 she was over going to parties, couldnt find a boy that didnt use pronouns and was tired of the other girls that wanted to keep acting like they were in high school and was ready to come home after graduating. She is going to finish her Masters virtually.

The 2 day (20) hour drive home was great. She was a different person and much more mature than when we dropped her off. She doesnt understand how people are obsessed with Kamaliar and why everybody has no confidence and find it easier to just be gay and hide behind pronouns and safe spaces. I consider myself lucky that I didnt lose my daughter to the College Indoctrination system.

Full ride to Johns Hopkins is out f'ing standing. Monumental achievement. It'll be tough having her away but the time she spends at home will be even more precious. Well done!

Quite the story.
I’m just glad me and mom are retired and our only goal is to make sure our grand boy stays a boy and gets the best education grandparents can afford.

Two daughters, got masters, and are teachers. College was an indoctrination. Turn them into bleeding heart liberals. They listen to PBS,Randy Weingarten, and the teachers union. I no longer have any credibility with them.
