Now on to the real world. I don't know when she got this old. Turns 21 in January, graduated from Embry-Riddle this morning🥲

"Global Intelligence"...Something, Something. I don't know where she goes from here, but really proud she made it here.

Congrats to her, and to mom and dad for helping her find the way. You all should be proud.

She's been given a place to live, food to eat, but everything else is on her. This is her accomplishment. She has been able to attend this school primarily due to academic scholarship, and the rest she has pretty much paid by working.

The parents behind us were not local...by any stretch. Indian, Saudi and Iranian. We drove 7 miles down the road. I haven't been to a college graduation since my wife's, 25 years ago. It was huge, Fresno State. This one was small. The faculty was wearing weird robes and hats. I told my wife we were in some kind of Hogwarts Hell.

All I know is they call it a "Jeezus" major...and no theology involved. Kind of weird, the DOGE Bros. may layoff a bunch of people, and Patel may do the same. That may be oddly good timing for a young conservative to join the ranks of the alphabet agencies. She's also talked recently about staying in local or state type stuff. I don't know where this will take her, I just hope she'll be happy doing it.

If this is anything like military intel…she could consider a career in the military.

My niece retired-out with a full disability a couple years ago, but when she was in she went into Naval Intelligence.

No degree like your daughter, but she made E6 at 21, was on the cover of some Navy mag as the youngest E6 in the modern Navy.

In high school, she'd tried to get an appointment to West Point. Through here, I was able to get her in touch with some Alumni...all American, brilliant, badass types. She was not able to secure an appointment, and was saddened by it. I, on the other hand, was happy her second choice was down the road, not across the country. She had then initially decided to follow up school with going into the USAF. To have them pay for school though, they wanted her in the engineering program. She is very good at math, but decided that wasn't what she wanted. So, she knuckled down and figured out how to get it done.

A lot has changed globally in the past 3-4 years...all things happen for a reason.

I think she's looking at things like "emergency management", and something like "intelligence analysis"...which I think is basically doing book reports to give higher ups?

Good work mom and dad! Best of luck to your little one in her future. I never thought raising kids would be the most nerve racking mentally challenging thing I’d ever do… but when you want them to succeed and do well in life it takes some serious time and effort.
