3 times in the last week I have had to slam on the brakes or serve to avoid an accident. So what dash cams are you guys using. There was a thread on here about them, but I wanted to get an update on opinions.

Are there wireless options? Are rear ones necessary? How hard is it to run the wires if wireless are very good? Car is a Lexus NX300, but looking at getting a new Tacoma.

I have the Thinkware 70 in 4 cars. Uses Sony as its backbone. The 70 is super small easy to install and has a lot of features. Pretty interesting to see how the dealership drives your car too. Caught them lying about test driving my truck after doing brakes.

Hers some of my footage

I think you want the speed and time shown in the recording

Also if your car is parked and gets bumped you want it to turn on.

Rear ones help in situations where you get pulled over & rear ended

They show how long a cop is behind you etc

plug and play and looks factory installed

I really like these. Unfortunately they don't have one for a 2024 Tacoma that I just picked up. Per their tech support it will be a month or 2 before it is available.

I would wait until one is available. Been extremely happy with the one in my Accord and Pilot.

Thanks. They finally came out with the 24 model for the Tacoma. Just installed it yesterday. It looks a seams to work great.
Did you just get the front camera or both front and rear? Can you post any pictures of the cam install?

Just the front. I will get some pics today. Install was very easy. Had to come to Palm Coast Fl to take my mom to a neurology appointment .

Really never thought about getting one but just came across this video. I would lose my mind on those people…which wouldn’t help the situation at all.
