The control has integrated trim switch in the tall handle.

The companies I sell parts to regularly in Havasu are Barrett, Absolute, Prestige, Petersons Boat Specialties, Ultra and I'm sure I'm forgetting others. There's probably several companies capable of doing the install. Any legit marine guy could handle this in their sleep.

Ya'll are a bunch of cheap asses! I spent 20% the purchase price of my boat on this control, and it was worth every dime. You won't understand until you install one and operate your boat around a dock. Absolutely the only way to go for controls and well worth the asking price at $780. This is hand made quality shit we're talking about here, made in the USA. Not some made in China POS. Pay the man!

My install is in my thread here: http://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/showthread.php?147268-Baja-240-Islander-Penny-Dropper

It took a little work, but there was nothing difficult about the install.

Recycle Performance, are you affiliated with Dana and Marine Industries West? Do you make the parts for them? I'm confused on the relationship.

Just curious cause I'm going to order some billet battery covers and I'm not sure who to contact. And for the shifter do I call them or him?

Hi, I am Marine Industries West. My name is Bob Jeanblanc, I own Marine Industries West. I was not related to Dana Stettler in regards to being family. I worked for Dana for a number of years and I managed Dana Marine Products. About 7 years ago, I opened up a boat repair/rigging shop (BJ's Marine) in Anaheim. I had previously started my used parts company Recycle Performance about 15 years ago. When Dana fell ill, and things took a turn for the worst at DMP, in an effort to help out my friend, I stepped up and took over the product manufacturing for Dana.

Any legit marine company can buy from us, for that matter anyone can buy from us. Flat Tops has purchased in the past. My previous response was aimed mainly at the dealers who regularly buy these controls and are very familiar with the product. But to elaborate, just about every boat repair shop in Havasu buys something from us here or there and there are also several in Parker too. Here's a more detailed list of dealers in that area,

Absolute Speed
Prestige Marine
Barrett Custom Marine
Petersons Boat Specialties
JC Marine
Savage Marine
Bad Attitude
Connolly Marine
Fallon Marine
Group One (Conquest)
Nordic
Flat Tops
Advantage
In Stitches
J&J Performance and Marine
Ultra Boats

It would be cool to have a list created with the buyers, left or right hand application, and what colors they want. If anyone wants to PM me details I can put something together. Thanks

It would help to get group buy pricing.. perhaps standard pricing without options for 5,10,15,20 participants, so we know what we are getting into.

We can do a clear ano finish, comes out satin looking. We can do the switches in handle or if you can wait a couple of weeks I'll have the no switch option available.

Negative, I only heard from one buyer. The new style handles are completed. These allow us to rotate the switch locations as well as remove the switches all together. First two controls with this new style handle are going together today.

Hello all; I am ordering within the next 2 weeks on this. There are multiple people still talking about this on newer threads, if we get our act together we can make this work.

Anybody else in?

This shifter looks amazing. My quiksilver shifter is falling apart. Do you still do install?

Looks awesome! I’m in need of an upgrade too. Bob, my dad is Bruce over at Fenico Castings. We’re going to stop by your shop one of these days and say hi. Dad has a 21 Schiada with a wacker and I’ve got a Howard 21 RC I/O.

Huge fan of these sticks - I love the feel in my hand, the quality is top notch!!!

Pretty sure that photo in the avatar of Marine West Ind. is of the set up in my old boat.

Not sure if I have pics of the new one but this is the picture from my old boat.

Huge upgrade over the Merc GEN2 side control. If you are installing on a new Mercruiser with digital transom. Make sure you install the older style TRIM HARNESS. Learned the hard way

Love the 2 handle side control.

Great information thank you. I just picked up an old eliminator "1982" with the 280 Volvo drive and would like to get rid of the factory shifter for something more modern. I'll put this on my long term goals list!
