Howe many miles is it dam to dam? Been years since I have been on Mohave. Recall the no mans land between the 2 landings and crossing it as a monsoon hit. Was for BigWebb78's bachelor party. Got pummeled on the house boats and left as the next storm was hitting. Does everyone have to re-fuel before the run back?

We had this debate in 2012.... Lol. I assume if there is any measurable movement, the clock is running. Even when we're floating the GPS is registering movement, so it's probably closer to the total time we were on the water. Who knows... We decided to ignore it. The mileage however is pretty accurate, and that was what we were after.

I don't think we ever needed to refuel, but did on the way back at Cottonwood just to be sure. Plus it's a good stop to get a snack for the way back

That is what I was figuring. Figure average speed of 55mph and the no wake zone through Willow, it should take approximately 90 minutes to get there from Katherine's with no stops.

Rule of thumb, when boating never pass up a gas dock on a long run. If you run into wind and chop your boat is less fuel efficient than on glassy water. Just a thought...

Oh and not sure how you're going to do it, but don't forget a little cash on hand for change, depending on final price of course. Any time I've sold shirts for something having enough change at the time of transaction has been a real pain in the ass.
