Lol it was pretty dumb. I was idling over to the cobra group but I was looking behind me at beer maker and hank. I hear my bro yell kill the engine and trim up so I did and we kind of just beached right on it.

Shit happens.

For the drive... did it hit hard enough to push anything out of alignment? I guess since you ran all day, you would have noticed.

Personally, once I know something is wrong with the boat, it bugs the hell out of me until it is back to normal... I dwell on it to the point it is almost an obsession

Wow! What an amazing day! In 118 degree heat there is no place better than the Hoover Dam and Willow Beach......water was so refreshing and driving didn't feel like a hair dryer on your face.

Weather was perfect except for the heat getting off the lake......

The heat must have affected my brain again because as we were pulling out at Katherines I forgot to trim my drive up and dragged it up the ramp. [emoji35]

All and all.....great day. Awesome meeting old friends and new. I got a few pics on my SLR that I will post up later.

Less resistance in the water now, should gain you 1/2mph

Oh it's bothering me lol everytime I go out there I look at it. Now it's to the point where its bothering Michelle that I keep looking [emoji13]. I think the drive barely tapped. I was idling maybe 5mpg and I think the hull slowed me down. I'm gonna make some calls to cobra during the week [emoji2]

It's imbarassing more than anything. I barely drug mine 10 feet. Looks like you drove it home like that...
I was able file mine and touched some paint on it.

Idk if the guy with the Orange Essex is an RDP member but that's a damn nice boat! Btw, your boat was looking great out there also. A lot of nice boats, saw a blue/yellow 27 Daytona that I liked too.[emoji106]

Thanks! There was A LOT of nice hardware out there yesterday. Paul's Schiada was my favorite. He blew by me a couple times to and it just looked and sounded amazing.

Breakfast ran up to marker 11 anchored in a cove
On pulling into Katherine's felt that vibration I've heard about
Stopped jumped in to check the prop and

Glad it happened on the way in today and not on the run

Thanks Karl for another great day! We had a blast, f'ing hot once we left the river...... Unfortunately we had to call it a day a little early, one of our passenger kicked the prop with her foot and needed medical attention, nothing serious. She is a seasoned passenger and just forgot about the prop hazard.....

So I bought a Sony Action camera and the below you tube link is the first video I have produced. I will post a few more of the day as I get to them

This is such an awesome video!! :thumbup: How did you add the telemetry?

Its a Sony GPS enabled Action Cam and the Sony software/app has this GPS overlay. It is super easy, took me an hour to figure everything out. Also has a small handheld remote with a screen that makes it easy to start and stop video along your journey. Go Pro does not have the GPS feature yet.

The Orange Essex deck is my wife's cousin. He is not on the boards not sure he even knows about them. I will text him and tell home to look them up when he can. The Nordic deck is another family friend from my wife's side. They are. It on the boards either. This trip was a blast!! Awesome day with awesome people.

That was my inlaws boat. I relaunched and hauled some of their passengers back in. It was a bad fuel pump. Thanks Carl for putting this together. We had a great time!!

I jumped out of my seat three times when they blew by me. Once from DJ heading up to the dam. Came so close that we got misted from his spray....literally scared the shit out of me. Another time heading back from the Dam by DJ and then the F29.

Stopped by when I saw them being towed to see if we could do anything, and he said it was just out of fuel. Offered to get them a can but they declined since we were already close to the marina...too bad it wasn't just out of gas, but happy it wasn't anything too serious!

It was a blast even though me and ken m in his carrera and my buddy Gary in his small block powered spectra (he's the original owner )came in to every stop dead last ,of coarse I stopped and got fuel at every marina (next year I know I just have to get fuel at willow ) it was our first time up there so thanks to everyone involved for putting this on it was a great event. :thumbup:

Sorry I sprayed you down! I really try to be aware of the prop spray and drop down the trim when passing other boats close enough to wet them down. If I am moving along pretty good its not a real good move dropping the trim down too low and if that was the case I probably should not have passed you. My bad.
