I thought they all did a really nice job under really tough circumstances. George did make me laugh a bit though.

For the most part I thought so too, Obama didn't exploit gun control as I expected, he got pretty close though. Chief Brown continues to impress me! :thumbsup

Chief Brown is a mans man and doesn't read from any teleprompter. His handlers have told him not to take questions and he's told them to fuck off. He stayed and answered questions for over an hour all off the cuff. His kid killed a cop and then was killed by cops. His brother was murdered by drug dealers. He has said that you have to continue moving forward during a crisis. The guy is a players coach and can also play to the front office.

The guy has my utmost respect and at the end of the day he's looking for solutions. Not trying to add fuel to the fire.

Absolutely agree! Yesterdays challenge to put in an application and become part of the solution really drives home his sincerity.

Exactly. Put your money where your mouth is. You're either part of the problem or part of the solution. He's very believable which I can appreciate in today's world of politician type Chiefs like L.A.'s.

Looks like armed citizens are standing guard at Dallas PD headquarters...and the PD doesn't have an issue with it :thumbsup

Citizens of the City of Splendora, SPD is aware of the individuals in the front of city hall today. A SPD officer along with outside law enforcement agency officers have already made contact with them. They were not viewed commiting [sic] any criminal offenses. They were very cooperative and understanding when discussed of firearms safety. They showed no danger to any persons when we made contact with them. They are showing support for local law enforcement agencies which is appreciated in this hard time for the State of Texas and the country is going through. For the safety of drivers on roadway, we ask citizens driving by taking pictures to not stop in roadway due to it can cause a traffic hazard or wreck. Thank you to our great city and east Montgomery county for the positive support.

Good for them. But I can't help but think it's sad that it's come to this. Shits just falling apart in this country.

On a side note I saw where Obama called the families but two men killed one in Baton Rouge and the other one in Minnesota . Sort of interesting because the investigation just a ongoing and no one has a determined whether or not those dead guys could've been committing the crime at the time or resisted arrest or detention.

But then again he called the family of Michael Brown who turned out to be in a bandit.

If he were the VP pick for either candidate, it would seal the deal.:) His stock is pretty high right now, for good reason.

Considering our choices, I'd take him as President at this point lol.

I just think there is honor in integrity and believability. I don't have to always agree but when you're solution minded and have a passion for doing the right thing, left wing or right wing, I can respect that. He strikes me as one of those individuals. Any one of his life events he could've used as a crutch to fall back on, yet he hasn't. It's not how many times you fall down but how many times you can get back up and keep moving forward. He strikes me as that type of individual and his actions have proved that [emoji106]
