Dad needs some money and wants to sell one of his boats.
Looking to see what you guys think a good asking price is.
79 Eliminator Sport cruiser. Closed deck. Merc 350 with gen 1 alpha 1. All stock aside from EMI thunder exhaust. trim rams need rebuilt.
Interior is super nice. Gel is decent and so is trailer.
I dont have many pics of it. Hoping he can get it out of the garage to get more soon.

That’s the same model as our old family jet boat, we just had an ‘83. I miss that boat for the simplicity of boating in general.

That float looks nice!

Sport cruisers are nice hulls, I would think $7500 or so. Maybe a little more since it's an Eliminator. Used older boat prices have come way down from what I've seen lately, but perfect time to sell it

Grandfather had a 77 with a 460 V-drive. Have so many memories in that boat. He sold it to one of my uncles who later sold it. No idea where it ended up.

Hard to say what the value is on something like this in todays market. Hard to find anything clean for under $10k these days. I would think it would pull $15k on the high side comparing it to marketplace listings.

The only thing I didn’t like about them was the round keel. If they incorporated a delta pad, or a sharper V all the way to the transom, they would ride better.

Great looking boat and good luck with the sale.
I’ve no idea on a number, but anyone would be proud to own that old cruiser👍

I’d probably call Mark down at Eliminator and let him know it’s for sale.
They get a lot of calls inquiring on used inventory.
Maybe flip him a few hundy if he can link you up with a serious buyer?

That looks super clean. I had an 86 with a newer 225 Pro Max on it and sold it for $12k back in 2015.
