You can always level the rear but then you defeat the purpose of bigger tires. If you did that you could get a 33” tire max

It does sit high in the back.

I need to get two things...the hydraulic steps and a spray in bedliner.

Whatever I do with the tires I really dont want to effect the suspension.

If you do decide to go with a leveling kit I would highly recommend Thuren. I ended up doing the rear springs and shocks after noticing how great the ride was just after doing the front. After the leveling kit I put a set of 35’s on it with zero clearance issues. Awesome truck by the way and congrats.

Nice looking truck, congrats! I have a 2014 and it has been great. I have the factory leveling kit which just raises the front a couple of inches. I run 35 inch tires with no clearance issues

The stock tires measure just over 33. 285/60/20

Thanks guys......I was messing with the truck this AM just kind of getting used to the console and settings.

It seems that once you put it in Trailer Mode that should probably lower the back end automatically, right? If so, I couldn't feel or see that happening. Of course there may be another button I didn't see to push. Just wondering about that.

Factory air ride? I think it levels up when loaded.

Nope that what I thought, the manual say you need weight in the truck before it will lower! WTF, whats the point then???

Navigator I have has that air ride crap. There is a sensor in the rear end like a float sensor. All I know for sure is the salt and air-ride do not get along well and it is $$ to replace or repair stuff.

It's not that type of air ride. It has the standard leaf strings in the rear, but it has air bags (I believe Firestone) that will inflate if needed. This is the type of system many people added aftermarket, Ram just installed it factory. I can post pictures if you would like to see.

If they are handy. My pontiac is bagged in the rear so I know what that looks like as I did it myself.
