The Pacific brand from Costco is pretty good, the Jack Links not so much, their teriyaki beef jerky tastes like dog food. At the Boat Show in LA a few years ago some guy was giving out samples that were super tender and tasty but big bucks, it just my son and I so what the heck I bought an $18 pack. On the way home we opened it up and it was the driest crappiest beef jerky we ever had. I emailed them and never heard anything back from them. Also stay away from the Best Beef Jerky in Parker - they suck too.

This stuff is best...used to always get it mammoth and now they have a store in HB Pacific City....score. They have the wet kind too...but also prefer the dry...Slab or peppered...

Every time I pass through Bishop I get a couple pounds of slab jerky there and eat that shit until my jaw stops working. There is nothing better.
