6' is no problem for a coyote
Yeah, that is what I had heard in the past. Plus one side has a slope to the upper side of the property. Just was a shock this morning as you think that they wouldn’t have a reason to go back there. Then he hung around the front yard where I took the photo of him.

I see your bobcat and raise you a coyote. Some how he got into our backyard with 6’ walls. There is a huge gap at the bottom of the gate but still nothing in our backyard. 🤷🏼‍♂️

A coyote can jump over a 6 foot wall/fence without breaking stride. The top of our driveway gate is 6' 6" and the coyote cleared it without making any noticeable effort.

I didn’t get any videos because there were only a few sketchy individuals there. It was cold and the park is intimidating so I didn’t do anything cool anyways but I’ll come back next time I’m here. Kind of a bucket list thing for me though and I could feel some sort of energy skating around. Not sure it was a good energy it was just a weird feeling i got there. I almost felt scared being there. Like if I was doing something I wasn’t supposed to be doing. I don’t see a lot of drugs and homeless like that ever though so maybe it was just the vibe. Nice morning today. Went out for a walk. Great day for a bit of paddling in the channel. Some time with our son and his dog at the dog park. Saw @tnk leaving town, (I assume). Now off to breakfast. Had a great weekend and just trying to relax before the work Week begins.

Burnside Portland Oregon
Ahhh... Well Vic, those aren't transients running around. Those are the common Oregon resident in the wild. If you have the opportunity you absolutely need to ride that park. I bet as long as you took the time to observe the etiquette and didn't pull a total tourist move they'd be all good with it.
