OK so this is one of the coolest things ever to me.
My wife was contacted by the Opry after our trip and they wanted to showcase her as the fan of the week. The asked her some questions asked for permission to use pictures she already publicly posted and they're sending her a 100th Anniversary gift box

Thanks man. That's awesome. Seems like there's definitely skill and experience that is required. Like I said, always dig your pics.

Last question.....Are there still any real truckers left out there??? Seems like it's a "new generation" for the most part.
Anybody that’s running a long nose, Flatbed , low bed, or Step deck that’s totally tricked out is legit

At least it is electric and can't go very far...
Lands at the exact same weight as it takes off with yet it is out of energy. Makes no sense to me.

I never got the whole electric plane or helicopter stuff but all of a sudden, electric has gone from being hated by fuel burners to being loved.

Never seen such a change of heart without an explanation based in physics or performance. I don't get it. 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️

Flight takes to much energy to be practical for electric save for some very niche markets. The flying taxi thing is for Suburban dwellers commuting to City centers.

My brother said a Fixed Wing electric stopped at the airport where he works. He took a picture and I got the N-number and have been following it on ADSB exchange. Flies for about 100-120nm and then lands for about three hours. There is a generator truck that follows it around. I can't think of a practical use for an airplane that can fly for about 45 minutes. But evidently there is a metric ton of money waiting to be poured into the technology.

I have a special place in my heart for a stretched out cab over Pete as well.
Ok, so I love the way they look too. But they’re the most miserable truck in the world to live in for OTR IMHO. The tunnel is right up against your hip, and if your linkage is wore out it’s a mofo to get it into fourth or eighth. And the ride is horrible as well. But, the good news is that if you’re in a head on, you’re like 20” from the seen of the crime.

I can’t disagree with a single thing you outlined but they are bad ass to look at when stretched.

I’d go long nose all day long with front axle bags if I had my choice. Hauling red iron steel or rebar I’d stretch it too.

I’d kill for bags up front, but im a heavy haul front, which is 20k lbs. they dont make bags for that, so she bouncy

I miss haul’n when I’m having these conversations. I don’t miss the hours though.

Your truck looks amazing. Keep posting the load updates. Lots of us love following.
I agree, your Truck is bad ass and I like seeing what you are dragging across the country. If you’re ever in Northern Idaho or Eastern Tennessee and need a place to take a shower and crash, you have my number!

Hell yeah Rick, I’d love to see you. Tell Kaila that Missy says Hi, and that we’re about to be grand parents any minute now!

A little late night last night, but the boy threw 8 scoreless for a combined no-hitter. Very proud

Soooo he’s going to the majors right?

He’s gotta be getting hit up already.

I’d be super nervous if I were you of him throwing out his arm. 😬😬 these fuckin schools starting in high school just ring these kids out trying to get every drop out of them and don’t give a shit about their career after the fact.

Sorry, didn’t mean to be negative just makes me think of my own boys. You have every reason to be super proud. Boys a stud. Obviously gonna go all the way!! I guess my question is how do you monitor his health and injuries to prevent injuring out of the majors??

Funny story from yesterday. I went to grab a late lunch. Been a few busy weeks and wanted to not cook OR fast food. So I went to our middle of the road Chilies. Come to find out that at the same time my wife texted me that she was having dinner. Where else but Chilies. LOL. So we has a meal together at the same restauran. It had been about 3 weeks. Only issue is that she was in Havasu Chilies as I was at the Chilies in Hawaii. Welcome to my life. Good thiNg is that we will be together for a few weeks on the mainland and then heading back to Hawaii for 3 weeks. 👍
