So, here’s my week so far. Nice little oversized run from Holtville to Gilroy, then a cheap ass reload from Newark to Pacific Palisades. The last two are a current representation of whats going on in the world. The utter disaster that is on The corner of sunset, and PCH, and a Russian/Ukrainian wearing safety sandals, and using an iPhone to communicate. Dude couldn’t speak any other words than “my friend,my friend”, then jammed a phone in my face to translate our conversation. So, I used every other word in English, and some spanglish, that I use when I talk shit to my Mexican homies, and some plain gibberish. He seamed confused when he’d read what the translation said on his phone. Not my problem. If you want to steal my lowbed freight, at least learn English, and wear proper PPE. Dude just busted all the chains off his load, and I’m fairly sure we’re not unloading here. Were Rolling up the highway I think, and he’ll have to re strap.

Wife and I last weekend at the cars and coffee at the Ronald Regan library. I think the first picture since I took off the side pipes and put the Flowmaster Force II system on it. I like it better without the side pipes and the sound, wife liked the side pipes better. Either way they had to come off because one was broken due to a speed bump LOL.

Flight home from Havi yesterday.
Dont fly at night/dusk very often so this was a treat.
1st pic is coming into the banning pass from the east, big bear mtn on the right and San Jacinto mtn on the left.
Got thru the pass and turned left to the south, out to my right looking west is lower part of big bear mtn with a bit of snow(10 Frwy) below me.
Out my left looking east is San Jacinto mtn. Then coming in to land at french valley.

Saturday Night at the Opry, we've seen concerts all over the country but this was a first. We did the whole package VIP Lounge and Backstage Tour with a Picutre in the Circle. It was an expierence we won't forget.

Maybe it's the kid in me but I love nice Semi's and dig your "what am I haullin' " posts. lol I even have my kids pointing out bad ass Petes when we're driving down the freeway.

I'd love to have a bagged and stretched 389. I've even entertained buying one just to local haul when I retire. I know it's stupid and the costs of doing that make it nearly not worth it. Buuuuuuuuuuut.

Not to side track this thread...But I'm going to anyway...

Do you have to be like a math wizard to figure out weight distribution, how much load those chains hold down, how tight to crank that shit, etc. etc. Seems like it would be a bitch to figure that stuff out on these huge hauls you do. Not to mention the liability of not strapping something down properly. I was deep diving on a couple of the youtube channels of those guys that have like show quality haulers and one guy doesn't run the safety wall (forget what it's called) at the front of his flat bed trailer and he hauls a lot of steel and shit and people in the comments were like, dude, you're nuts. So, I'm guessing shit happens commonly, no?
