Completely unplanned trip.
Wife has not seen our Son in a month and with Monday being Veterans Day—we both had day off, so red eye out to SAT and early morning flight on Tues to LAS.
We’re back out here again for TGiving and then once more a couple weeks after that.

Quite a few stabled out Twin Oaks Valley a ways and a section with a horse or dirt trail along side it, but I've never seen one out this far.

Given your location, does this arrangement work well for you ? I can certainly see some major positives in not having to deal with ownership and it's associated costs.

This was out of Venice. We have taken a boat out of the Marina Jack's location once and will again as it is closer to our winter place. We use the Venice one in the summer as we are in Nokomis then. The instructor we like is out of Venice.

With freedom boat they have ICW boat, near off shore and off shore boats. We are not fishermen and really won't go very far off shore. The main reason to get that training is to not have to go through the no wake zones on the ICW. In the summer when you are going through the no wake or idle speed zones it gets too hot without the wind. We will use the near off shore mostly unless the water is rougher and then we will take the deep Vee boat.

Our plan is to go out of Venice in the summer and go through North Venice inlet to the Gulf and then run up the coast to Sarasota Bay inlet.

Yes I think it will work well. We haven't been able to use it as much as we want, but that is due to the weather and not the program.

Oh! Hahaha. Yeah, I kinda did too. Pleasently surprised AJ had the whaler in the shop with motor on it for me to take when I dropped the cigarette off with him. I can’t wait to get this little whaler running. Gonna be a lot of fun around here.

nice work! was this just an exhaust redo, and to re-do that tube that goes from the intake to the intercooler? was that just rubber hose before? I know the factory design usually sucks for installing/removing service work.
