It was fucked, I hope whoever made the call to switch planes gets fired. I was talking to our Capt. and he was dumbfounded, he said he has never seen them authorize that before, he was pissed.

Flipped over my 19 Daytona today, next step in the outboard to jet conversion adding a rounded keel. New balsa floors and gel coat on the bilge pretty much done. 2 years to get to this point!

Here we go again, this was the scene Saturday night at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert as the opening puck dropped to a sold out crowd. Our local Coachella Valley Firebirds have done it again in their 2nd season and made it to the AHL Finals! They lost on Saturday Night to the Hershey Bears and are behind in the series 2:3 and game 6 is tonight in Hershey PA. Ironically, Hershey is the team they lost the finals to last year in their inaugural season in the 7th game in OT.

Yes, been to a handful of concerts there. It's an 11k arena for sports (more seats for concerts), so it's pretty intimate and there's no bad seats in the house. Parking is good and it's a smaller arena, so traffic isn't unbearable. Only problem is that the only way in/out is Varner Road, and you can exit the 10 @ Cook or Washington. It can get congested, but Coachella Valley congested is a joke compared to LA congested...!

Ugh, my Firebirds just lost the final in game 6 OT, bummer but still got some pretty good bragging rights!

I haven't tried 1942 but have heard it's very good. The two I have in my stash are Mi Familia Flores Tequila Extra Anejo and Mandala. They're very different but both are excellent.​
