Appears he could be fishing ?

We had a nice Marlin hooked up one day, unfortunately smack in the middle of a major west coast LA shipping lane. Sure as shit, here comes a loaded container ship headed straight for us.
We tried everything from yanking him forcefully to the boat, to giving him line, to trying to persuade him one way or another, nope, that prick was dead set on getting us run over.
So I gave him all the line I had until I could see a shiny spool and we quickly hauled ass out of the direct path, barely, because that damned inconsiderate container ship cut me right off as he passed so close we could count the barnacles on it's hull.

Love me some Mutt Lynch. @OldSchoolBoats and the Mrs. and the wife and I had a great brunch the day after the pub crawl last year. Trying to get the buzz going and nurse what ailed us that morning. Put a pork tenderloin in the crock pot for dinner yesterday. Ended up going to our daughters for dinner. Decided to make Mac and Cheese/Pulled pork for lunch instead. Not the healthiest lunch but damn it’s good.

Nice! Its only been a few months and miss it lots. We enjoy dinner at that Tommy Bahama's every now and then.

Plant dork stuff today. Is it boating season yet?! Lol

I do love messing with plants though. Did a bunch of stuff around the yard today. Propagated a cactus, freshened up some pots after winter damage, moved this Madagascar Palm to a new pot and gave him some friends to hang with. Lots of new growth on the palm up top, so he'll be looking good soon.

Took a little kid fishing last weekend at my special pond and got him on a nice 5.5 pounder. Was his 2nd bass of his life. To see him in as state of pure joy and excitement was amazing and made my week. Got myself a nice 5 pounder yesterday. Was as big as my backpack
