Awesome, CONGRATS!!! I miss watching my son play ball SOOO BAD!!! He stopped playing baseball beginning of last season, Trabuco Hills. Played his Freshman year at CVCS with Chachi, didnt like the school, too small. Transferred to THHH Sophomore year, made the team... They would pitch him one inning every other game or so, took the bat out of his hands (hit mid/high 300s freshman year), he is 6'2" and plays 1st baseman also with ZERO errors Freshman year, but they would put in 5' nothing kids at 1st that couldn't field a ground ball or layout/stretch to pick a bad throw... it was unbelievable. He stuck it out for WAY longer than I thought he would, but decided he was done when one of the coaches told him last year (Junior year) he would never pitch an inning in a Varsity game... We like to tell everybody he "retired from baseball" not that he quit. Hahaha

Unfortunately, that's a common theme with some coaches. They don't let kids develop or they don't develop them. My boy played at Huntington Beach and we were solid so my son was able to develop. He also worked his ass off.
If you're ever un vegas feel free to catch a game. ;)
My boy is #16
You still have the memories of your boy playing.

I hate those damn things! Worse than geese up here in Idaho. Shit all over the driveway and walkways! They say the wild ones up here taste too gamey, but I may find out for myself one day 😉
And some people pay good money for them, haha!!!!!

Yeah, it is very common. HB is a solid program, your boy def earned his for sure. I use to joke that the coaches could've even develop a polaroid picture let alone a baseball player/team, hahahaha. THHS was lucky to have some solid players got through the school, gonna be interesting to see how they do with most of them gone now.

I picked up a cheap 03 Mercedes CL500. It wouldn't crank over despite new battery and the seller wanted it gone. Paid for the car. Put my bigger battery from my Mercedes ML350 in it. Car would crank but wouldn't start. No spark. Check fuses and yep burnt out. New fuse and it is alive. Hydraulic suspension and one side wouldn't lift. Oh, shit still might need a tow truck. Check fuses, more burnt out and missing a relay. Get that sorted and drive home. Think fixing it on the street in front of the sellers house was a dick move. But oh well. I bought it while it wasn't running. His fault for putting a battery in that was too small and then trying to jump it for more juice blowing fuses, etc. Now home and working out some other minor bugs.

I had to pause my TV and go back and take a look at the pic of @Tank Key West Thread.

Thankfully this is NOT Tanks plane . However, it is being reported as a 22 passenger private jet. The roadway between SoFlo and Naples area is going to be closed in both directions for many hours to come. It’s on ALL the news channels now.

As a non-golfer, I'm stunned by the size of the crowd, I honestly had no idea.
If it's so damned popular why have they shuttered the majority of area courses ? You'd think they'd be building more, and drilling wells if need be to satisfy their watering demands.

Curious I had to look ---- 90,000 people a day and over five days over 700,000 people --- HOLY SHIT, that's nuts.
Seems more people want to watch then play ??

The WM golf tournament isn’t a “normal” type golf event. What a waste of beer. 😂🍺

Is this what you were headed to Lemoore for? I hope they supplied the cribbing 🤣
Yep. That’s what I was doing. They have all the fixtures that they build in house. I checked in at a warehouse that was like a Home Depot inside. All the lumber on racks and an army of guys building different boxes, fixtures, crates, you name it. It went to a government wrecking yard next to Davis Air Force base. Full security at the wrecking yard as well.

Can you keep a wing or two For garage art?
I totally wanted to climb all over it and grab a ton of connectors, fittings, wire looms, etc. The problem was I drove right through the storm, and where I parked for the night it was dumping rain! Had I more time, and better weather, I’d have checked it out better. I was trying to make a Thursday drop before noon, rather than my appointment on Friday, so all I got is pics

My buddy ran an RGN for a few years. Lots of military stuff, tanks, APC's and even a helicopter. He said the absolute tightest security he ran into was some place in the PNW...a submarine base. He'd post pics on the road and the load when ready. Pretty cool. He's a veteran, so he thought it was pretty cool to get loads like that.
