Quick job before the weekend.

I'm at my son's youth track meet and my wife is at My daughter's High School track meet today. Both my kids are throwers and my daughter improved by 5' today in Discuss, super proud and I guess she is fired up now Waiting for Shot Put.

My son also had a huge day with all 4 throws being better than his previous "Personal record" and his best was 24' 11", that's over 2' improvement and he said he felt he had more, he will take 2nd over all today, last week he took 5th.

Everyone on our team in his flight set a new PR, and multiple others in other flights also set a new PR. We have 4 awesome coaches this year me being one of them.

On a side note my son was complaining the last 2 weeks about how I'm pushing him at the gym and then today happens he is gunning for 1st place which is 27 and change. BTW our team took 1-5 and they are all over 22', 6th was a little over 20' FIRED UP!!!!

Yesterday was the best grunts yet. His previous official PR was 21' 9" (last week) and his unofficial (preseason all comers meet I posted back in January) was 22' 9.5" so officially he had an improvement of over 3' in 1 week. He learned that hard work pays off, he's looking forward to the gym this week.

I did the slide too through high school. I went outside my track coach in off seasons to get better coaching chasing a HS record. As you may know the shot and discus are all about speed through circle ending at toe board where the legs drive up and launch that shot. My coaches really stressed being disciplined regarding keeping hips low, legs bent through the slide so that I had more explosion at end .... otherwise you're simply using all upper body arms and chest. as for that "Rotation" move.... I agree, I'd save that for later age if ever. I never could master that thing but the guy who always beat me had it down to perfection, lol. 60' in state finals that bitch.

The LASD / SEB guys did a fly over in the bird circled a few times, saluted and flew off. It was pretty awesome. Nice send off. He would’ve liked it.

The interior is really nice, the B&O stereo very good for a stock stereo. When we took my buddies 22 down to pre-run for the 1000, it seemed to handle better, I wasn't driving, so its not confirmed, I think the live valve shocks probably make a difference as well as the linked rear end they have now.

My 17 was getting up there in the miles, and I was waiting for this color to come back before I bought my last truck before I retire.
