Current Situation - a picture thread

Comal River tube float. Couple of hours of floating, no boats no jet skis just tubes. Three chutes the 1st one has a good track record of flipping people, the other 2 are nice and easy. It was fun and relaxing with my wife, kids, parents, aunt and cousins.

Picked this thing up this morning. Hobart EZ tig 165. Waited to long and Hobart discontinued these beginning of this year, shit. Been looking for one and found this for $750. New was $1400.

This board is pretty large its rough dimensions are 12" by 21" and 1" thick. I don't really dimension my boards, what they end up is what they end up. I guess I could, but I try to make them as large as I can.

Yeah we got after it pretty good about a month ago in Parker. Throttle response is much better than before. Pulls really hard on the big end.

Sunday Grenade day:
6th grenade dropped off at same Goodwill store in Northeast Div. In 2 years. We can just come to your house for curbside pickup, no questions asked

Live, or the truck stop souvenir variety? We had a full 1000' spool of det cord and a box full of blasting caps dropped off at our station not that long ago! Warranted a vist from the bomb truck...

What lake?

Colorado River! Horseshoe Bend/Lee's Ferry, specifically. You can see the island more clearly here. Pretty amazing stretch of fly fishing water! Actually right below Glen Canyon Dam, which holds up Lake Powell.

Actually, I mean that it's horrible fishing! Waste of time! No trophy fish to be found there. I actually don't mind telling people that there's good fishing to be had here. It takes a lot of work! And very remote. So, anyone that would be willing to put in the work to get there and fish it, likely already knows about it.

Yes all done with chainsaws. It is in Reedsport, Or. Used to go every years with my dad on father's day until he passed. Havent been in probably 8yrs. We took my wife's dad today. I didn't get any pics of them working as they were all finishing up today. It's a 4 day event.
