Great day on the lake. Definitely a little windy, kinda busy but tough to beat. First stop was Topock for some Tritip sandwiches. A little slow but good stuff. Ran into @Bpracing1127 and @LargeOrangeFont at Pirates. It was pretty packed today.

Ran down to our local hole in the wall for a drink and some food. The owners window was down a little so I grabbed a ran from her and went out and wiped it down as it raining a little. So I thought I'd snap a few pics and post.

It's a '69 ('68 1/2) she bought it in 1974.. for $200

She has a '69 olds that is pretty much original that she is the second owner also.

And has a '43 Lincoln that she Is second owner.

We ended up behind them going through the Gorge. A couple of them had a little more energy. Their dance moves got a little better from Pirates to the no wake zone.

Granddaughter got this prayingmantis egg from I think Lowes a few weeks ago. They hatched today, label says between 200-400 baby mantis will emerge from this durt doubler type nest and sure as shit 5 weeks later we let em loose in our garden area as they are great for controlling pesty other bugs. Zoom in as more than half had already left the nest and more were emerging. Gonna be a mantis summer I'm sure.

Nice.. we have tons of praying mantis at our place. They do an amazing job on bugs and spiders. They are pretty interesting little creatures. They will actually befriend you it's kinda cool.

Lady bugs dont live as long and are not real territorial. The praying mantis will usually stick around the area they where hatched as long as there is a food source.

The cheap stuff is about $30-$40 for 25'. The stuff that's lasts is closer to $100.
