If I camp I usually go to the 12. Did you happen to eat at hell's backbone grill?Day of hiking and a lot of miles too. If you’ve never been, HWY 12 in Utah is an absolute must see. Water contents too! Hehehehe View attachment 661032 View attachment 661033 View attachment 661034 View attachment 661036 View attachment 661037 View attachment 661039 View attachment 661040

Couldn’t believe watching the temp drop from Fillmore to Ventura. It was beautiful.
No, we stayed in Cannonville for 3 days. Took a day trip to Escalante and did two hikes. One to Escalante Natural Bridge (4 Miles round trip) and up the road to Lower Calf Creek Falls (6 Miles round trip). It was 107, drank a lot of water. Then someone came up with a bright idea of cycling from Tropic to bottom Red Canyon on the 12. That was grueling with 7777 ft elevation and nasty head/crosswinds. It was a grueling 40 Miles. Lot of climbing both ways. Went to Stone Hearthe Grills, Showdowns Restaurant & Pizza Place in Tropic. All were great but Stone Hearthe was something else, highly recommend it. People are so nice too. Stayed in Quail Creek State Park for 2 days after. Went to Zion one day and hung out at the lake the other. We’ve been gone for a month. Great times!
