Lots of guys lost motors out this way about two years ago after a cold snap. Gets way colder here than by you guys though. Still enough to make you nervous.

They call this "The Valley of the Names".... Its about 4 miles up Picacho road and there are literally thousands of these names sculpted out with rocks. Fricken snowbirds just have too much time on their hands I guess.......

The same thing runs the entire length of I-80 from Reno to Salt Lake City.

Don't have to turn the bird in. They do want the person to report where it was shot and when. To help track the age and flight patterns.

It's pretty rare to shoot one, so the band is kind of like a trophy.
