We stop at Bucees whenever we are on the road going to the races. They are easy to get in and out of towing a trailer and most will let you pump $150 at the pump before it shuts off. The wife loves to shop a little and the brisket sandwiches are pretty good.

I stay at the Top of the Hill place close by the Jen-Robt. They are like others pretty busy right now. There are two others by their house but don't like what I have read about them. Gruene is just a little bit farther than I want to drive between the park and their house.

I will be in late Tuesday....Wed getting all situated and staying for a week. Luckenbach next weekend sounds good. I will try to pull Jen away from her college football....she is a nut over that stuff.....lol Assuming you are talking Saturday?????

The park I stayed out here in LA is a great park for families. Pools and so forth with activities for the kids. I got in a far corner so I could just chill. Big groups come out here and they have plenty of wide, long RV spaces (all cement pads) as well as cabins. They even have covered RV spaces if you want something like that. Just out of Lafayette LA.

Just chillin out. Ate some cajun food at CTs and watched some college football at the bar. The shrimp poboy was awesome. Was gonna play some golf but didnt. Bought a few pounds of fresh caught big shrimp to fix up at my sisters house in TX.

Ya…Roxy and I kept a low profile. Weather is changing as we left.

Helluva storm out here in Texas right now. Went to my sisters house for dinner and hightailed it back to my location. Roxy and I are stuck in the truck trying to get a break from the lighting and rain to get in the 5th wheel. Its pretty cool to see but to many lighting strikes right now to risk exposure.

The two craziest storms this year I have been in are both in Texas. When the trip was starting and now it is ending. Hmmmmm
