About a year ago I had Covid. Kicked my ass, wife had a bad cold, kids brought it home and had the sniffles. I figure mine may have been worse from my lungs being abused by chemicals, but have no clue...
Now, here's what I mean about lasting effects: Three times this year I've caught a cold. That by itself is pretty weird. Here's the weirder part, all three times, about the second day, I end up with a pinkeye situation. It must be viral. The normal prescription drops for it are for bacterial. I can take anti-inflamatories and it helps, as does cold medicine. WTF?
Now, I've had normal pinkeye. Once as a little kid, 5 or 6, and once in high school. I was a year round club swimmer for years, and that's kind of a notorious group for it. Twice in 45 years, now 3 times this year? and a different type? It seems really odd, as I don't interact with but maybe a handful of humans, the same humans, a day.
Anyone else notice some weirdness?
