My whole fam had Omicron in the beginning of the year. My daughter just returned from a trip sick and tested positive. I thought that once you had Omicron strain you were immune??? Anyone else get it again too?

I want to order Ivermectin AGAIN for myself since I have some heath issues. Old place is shut down...where can I get it online?

Thanks!

Where have you been? People are getting it 2-3 times. Lord Fauci had it twice in a month.

Shit I might have it again and I was positive in January. I believe its a head cold. But I flew in to Florida a few days ago. Could be allergies.

My first round was last Jan/Feb and was pretty rough, second was the sniffles in Aug, got a single shot to stay employed in Nov, just finished round 3 2 weeks ago, it was a cold. I suspect I will be good for another year but it is starting to look like it will be an annual occurrence.

My wifes sis had a cold, tested multiple times negative. Was in total disbelief she didn't have covid😂.
Daughter just getting over a cold in Korea as well, also somewhat in disbelief she tested negative.....more so because she didn't get time off with pay😂
.
Yup, influenza did not disappear.

I have a few co-workers that test every time they are feeling sick. I finally asked them, what’s the point. What does the test tell you. Unless your blood ox is dropping, your Dr’s response is not going to change.

Simple rule my family follows. If your feeling off (sick), stay home. This is what we did prior to Covid. Seems like everyone forgot that simple thing and now wait for test results to tell them they are sick. If a positive test result changed treatment plans, I can see getting tested, but it does not. Increase your vitamin intake, drink fluids, monitor blood ox and rest if feeling off.

I finally said FU to testing when my daughter was sick with a fever over 102 for 4 days back in April that started Friday morning. Wife called the Dr on Saturday, and was told to get her tested. I asked; “what will test results change?. Any change to recommended treatment?” The Dr told me no, but we need to know. So I told the dr, we are not getting her tested until Monday if fever breaks, unless a positive test equals a different treatment plan. Tested daughter Monday afternoon, got results Tuesday around noon (negative), so we took her to school at 12:30.

I've had it twice. Almost the exact same symptoms both times. Unless you were one of the extreme few that they actually did DNA testing on your virus sample, you really don't know which strain you had. And, just the flu and the cold, there are MANY strains at this point, all of which can be caught and test positive for COVID for.

I got it before it was a thing in early 2020. It was bad for a couple days then I got over it. They sent us home for two years, no issues whatsoever. Then got the two mandated shots. We're slowly going back in the office. Every week they report the covid cases in the office. A few weeks ago is was 19, then last week 28, out of maybe 500 people average per day. Thats pretty damn high. Boulder County Colorado where I live and work is high, but not that high. Then, BAM, Saturday I tested positive. Way worse than first time, kicked my ass and its going on four days. Will be filing for full time remote, at least til this thing blows over.....

I’ve had it twice now. Both times it was my 13 year old that gave it to me.

You can get it over and over just like you can get the common cold over and over. You’re fairly immune for 90-120 days after catching the Rona but you’re not immune to other variants, that’s science but, this thing was manufactured in a lab so who knows 🤷‍♂️

Exactly...the wife and I had it between x-mas and new years. About 3 weeks ago I got a cold and got the wife sick. We both tested negative my wife swore we were going down the Covid rabbit hole again. (I think she was hopeful that way she could have extra days off).

I told her the cold still exists and that's all it was.

FYI if you had delta and got it bad, you're probably a lot more immune than those that only got omicron recently:

I've had to blow my nose quite a bit this past week. Mostly due to warm saltwater. 😎

I believe what the reality is, is that if you have had the shots and get covid, it will be milder than if you have not had the shots. It has been well documented that the shot does not mean you cannot get it. Lots on here have gotten. There are also health issues that mean you will be more susceptible: diabetic, over weight, heart conditions and others. I am 77 and had the two shots. My 76 year old wife also had the booster, so we are in the age group most at risk. We have traveled extensively around the country in our motorhome, including a flight to Alaska a few weeks ago. We only wear a mask when it is required and are told. Have been exposed to 10s of thousands of people and have never had any symptoms. We are pretty healthy and I am sure that helps. A good friend has all kinds of medical issues and I was sure he would get covid, and he did. Felt like he was going to die. He lost a lot of weight and muscle tone, which he has not gained back. Some of us are luckier than others.

My sister is triple boosted, got sick with the variant that causes extreme soar throat and cough that wouldn’t go away, tested negative three times at home, went to urgent care, tested negative then to the dr a week later, still negative. We were sure she had Covid. Guess she had a soar throat & cough 🤷‍♀️.

Agree with you 100%
I have zero doubt that if you got the first 2 shots, you were far better protected against the original strains of C19. In addition, if you were over 65, or if know you had the known commorbidities (diabetes, out of control b.p., obese, immunocompromised etc) you were foolish not to get the first 2 shots.
Having said this, it seems that people that have had 2 or 3 additional boosters are WAY more likely to get Omicron than unvaxxed or people with no booster shots.
No boosters for me or wife. Still battling 100% 👍

I’ve had more people on my team out the last 2 weeks than the last 2 years. My BIL/SIL and Lurker Jim got it in the last week as well. It’s definitely going around.

^ 👍 ^. Good chance at your age you might have been in the military late 60s. Boot camp they called it the gauntlet, walked thru getting vacs in both arms.Thought nothing of it. Around here considered “Sheep” if you trying to stay alive. How many millions vaccinated past year?
We are vaccinated, boosted & back to Sams enjoying my Club Sandwiches and Cholesterol loaded Breakfasts at Black Bear. :)
Same age as you “Ol Man,good you guys are well.

I brought it home with me as a souvenir from the Cancun airport, apparently 😕Monday night, sore throat. Tuesday, sore throat all day. Wednesday & Thurs fever and feeling crappy. Slept almost all day Friday and had a gnarley cough in the evening. Progressively better every day since then and back to normal today. Took Emergen-C and Zicam religously, as well as Mucinex. Taste seems to be coming back faster than smell. Didn't and won't test. I don't want to feed the media hysteria... Luckily, Mr. DB appears to have dodged the bullet.

Missed a long weekend of boating which I'm pissed about 😡

I think I had C-19 before it became a thing in November 2019, I had a head cold and went to the doctor a couple days after my symptoms started. A few days later I lost my sense of smell and taste for almost 2 months. I called my doctor and he said it’s a strain that going around where people are having the same symptoms. A couple months later they shut down the country. I have not had any of the “vaccines” and haven’t been sick other than a couple days of sniffles or a runny nose. Everyone that I know that has the vaxes/boosters has had 2-4 bad colds where I haven’t gotten sick since that time a couple years ago. Is there a connection that those that have been jabbed are more susceptible to getting sick more often?

I think they’re saying now the more shots you have the more likely you are to get it
