I saw my back pay had been deposited into my account this morning. Ka-Ching!

Mine too. $5,966. My regular SS benefit payment doesn't drop until the 3rd Wednesday (Mar 19th) but from what I'm seeing from others who have received their March payment, it looks like it WILL have the increased (correct) amount.

Mine was exactly $5952. I still don't know if this is a number that you divide by 14, to find out how much more monthly I will get, because the numbers don't match.

Remember that in Jan 2025 our SS payments increased with the 2025 COLA, so there are different amounts in play for the retroactive payments. Log into SSA.GOV and set up an account, if you haven't already. There you can download the "Benefit Verification Letter". It should be updated to what your new SS benefit will be.

Yes, I have the letter. That is where the confusion started, because i forgot to take into consideration of the COLA. Now it makes sense. Thanks!

Have a bunch of friends that have gotten theirs. I’m still waiting on mine. The lowest was 4800 and the highest so far has been 7500

My Social Security Doubled.
Trump seems to follow through on his pledges so like mentioned before, if the income tax is removed that will be another nice bonus for us all.

Had my wife been a week younger, I'da taken a serious % hit off my pension, the math figuring she'll draw it longer. Especially with COLA's that's serious bank. Barely dodged that bullet.
Women in her family live to over 104. All of them.

Yes, it is nice to get reimbursed, just unfortunate that it was only for 14 months. I'm still at a $80K loss that I will never see.

Wife is about to retire / teaching after 32 yrs public school at 55 and their retirement pretty much sucks..... but in HS and college her Dad payrolled her for a number of years from his s corp. I had her check yesterday and she has 37 credits, so onto my s corp payroll she goes for 25'. The best part is not missing out on any due to our age as you elude to because that is bs, also bs she would have been ineligible for mine if I kicked off first. My Dad never even got his due to when he passed. As a guy who has paid to file 941's paying a shit ton of labor burden for 33 years getting this $ is a matter of principle to me 😂
