Two of these blocks get put together and pinch a graphite electrode. Made from 7075 T6 aluminum.

Two of these blocks get put together and pinch a graphite electrode. Power cables bolt to the blocks and huge amounts of electricity flow through them and they get really hot. So they pump water through them to keep them cool. Not shown is a copper sleeve that goes between the graphite and the aluminum block to keep from arcing between the two materials. Made from 7075 T6 aluminum.

Awesome! Are those for the same customer with the big copper piece? Looks good size, what are the outside dimensions?

Yes it is the same customer. The graphite electrode is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The blocks are 3”x 4”x 8“.

Their design. I get a blue print and then I have to model it in Solidworks so that I can cnc it.
