I may be wrong, but I thought Dave told me that he didn't run over 65 for the whole race because of the division he was in or something like that. I may be wrong but they didn't look to be running very fast all day.

You are probably right.

Going for the Overall is all about strategy.

Mike, it's easy to break out, because you'll always set a slower pace when you qualify. No one would finish if the went flat out the whole race! Well, no one but CORE boats. [emoji6]

Ok...thanks for the info.

I was looking at a Checkmate 2400brx with a 400r than ran 80 on GPS. The 2400brx is an open bow with a straight 22 degree V, no steps or pad.

Was just curious what a lighter weight performance V would do with the 400r....

Any boat can enter the Enduro and win! Even the jet boat guys, as long as they follow the rule, set a good pace, stick to their strategy, and don't break.

This race is for Everyone.

Such a Dick... Mom was in town otherwise I would have been there. Stern does have me fired up about knocking him off the mountain next year though. Not sure I want to bank roll a 400r just to win one race.

Hammer the class we were in already had a preset qualifying time.

So far the boat runs 87 on gps but still need some prop work.

Exactly, you need two motors. One for everyday boating and one for the race.
That way if you cook the motor or need a year to freshen it up your good to go.
