Does anyone know where to get rid of old broken up concrete and block in the lake Havasu area?
I just demo’ed a fake rock in the backyard and now I need to get rid of the debris.

I wonder if Campbells would take it.

My local concrete/gravel yard takes it for free if it is clean, free of rebar. They crush it up and use it as aggregate in their mix. I am not in Havasu though so it might not be the same in your area.

I called them and they pretty much said FO.
The guy said “I’m in construction and unless you’ve got some construction work then I’ve got no time for you”.
Should have told him you were going to have him bid out a sizable project while they were picking up the concrete, but you don't want to use up any more of his time.

WTF dump it in their entrance tonight with a sign that says, “ Here construct something with this.“
Campbell's doesn't care. They are the only game in town. He will laugh about it as he's picking it up with one of his many loaders and moving it out of the way. He has his own monopoly in Havasu.

Crazy how when things are booming, all the locals are on the top of the world. Acting like he is security paving or something. Everything comes in waves….. no pun.

Mix that retaining wall mud in your wheel barrow!
Honestly, I’ve mixed and poured hundreds of yds of concrete and grout in my time and if push came to shove a mixer and wheelbarrow works just fine. No need to hit the gym during that project.

I hear ya. I was joking. Although the last retaining wall I did had 52" wide footing 2' deep with a 8" key. That would of been a rough 1.

I have had my Multiquip mixer 16 years now. Poured lots of concrete with it. The good thing I don't know of any cracks . True 6 sack mix. All the concrete here has been mixer poured.

That one would be tough. I’m not sure what the city would require for my job but since it just terracing a hill I would think that the footings would be pretty minimal. I think that if the wall itself is under 4’ that it can be just stacked stone (or block) on any stabil surface.
