I don't get that either, housing in Havasu would probably be 200% cheaper for me. Houses are so cheap in Havasu, that's why I'm thinking about buying a house there.

The problem is in 3 months after, no matter when, you buy them they will be worth 20% less.

I wouldn't put much trust in those calculations... Didn't work too well for me...
