Legacy Media is on its way out, and conservative streaming medias like podcasts and YouTube shows are popular because of the truth.
Democrats will have a hard time gaslighting their lies for at least the next 3 years.

I think the pendulum is definitely swinging. My wife likes the mainstream network entertainment shows, and I caught a segment the other night about the new Snow White trash talking Trump supporters. When the segment started, I got pumped up and ready to start hurling my usual string of profanities at the TV and lecturing the wife about the blatant bias of these Hollywood shows rotting her brain... Surprisingly, the segment was more about the inappropriateness of Snow Whites comments and the ensuing backlash and her subsequent apology, and I can honestly say the segment was not derogatory towards Trump or his supporters. I was truly shocked.

Talk is cheap and the real test will be how the mainstream news media behaves. Sure, WaPo and LA Tiempo have pledged to do better and have made changes to editorial boards have have made comments on wanting to be fair and balanced, but I recall the same 5 minutes of introspection in 2016... We all know how that turned out.

Times are different, and the Dems have pushed disinformation to the point of disbelief while people increasingly have other outlets to get their information from as you mention. It's encouraging to hear legacy media promise to do better, but again talk is cheap, and that entertainment segment is the real "proof is in the pudding" that I look out for.

Darwin said the species that survives is the one that is able best to adapt and adjust to the changing environment in which it finds itself, and I'm cautiously optimisitc that after 8+ years of Trump and conservative bashing (16+ if you count Obama years...), legacy media may finally be waking up to this reality. Time will tell.
