They're turning low 1:07s in practice for tomorrow's race. Colton did a 1:12 in the Reynard, with a 20 year old setup but on new Firestone tires.

In 2000 Helio Castroneves turned a 1:07.2 at Laguna in a Reynard/Cosworth, so today's IndyCar speeds are right there with the best CART efforts.
