My guess is that Barkely will not play. ND may catch a break.
The way it sounds you're probably right.

I think SC is better than an average team when they are consistent. Which they haven't been. In all their losses, they did not get blown out. With the exception of Arizona (and I don't think they are horrible...just another young inconsistent team), they loss to worthy opponents. The PAC 12 is competitive, still underrated IMO. Stanford showed that tonight by beating Oregon. Stanford.... classic underrated team that showed they have what it takes to shut down a high scoring offense.
USC has beaten 2 teams with a winning record...
Syracuse&Washington....hmm.
Pre~season numero imo.
I agree,I think the PAC 12 is somewhat underrated.
That said,
I think Oregon...would be mid pack in the SEC.They don't seem capable of beating big physical teams.
....think Stanford exposed that.
So we'll get to see how much BCS is on the SEC nuts when the rankings come out tomorrow. Let's reflect..........
Bama #1 loses to #15 A&M and only falls 3 spots to #4 after. And Bama got slapped around the whole game.
#2 Oregon loses to #13 Stanford in what was actually a good, tight game OT game. We'll see how far they fall. Behind all the other 1 loss teams? Sure, it sucks to lose late in the season.
But IMO, Bama should have fallen below Georgia, and Florida.
No way no how.... Giants still suck! I like how your boys don't wanna keep Melky around now. It's on next year. Enjoy your "moment". Lol
The tri-fecta or possibly a fourfecta (lol) is about to happen.....
My SF Giants World Champions
My ND team soon to be #1
My Clippers dismantling everybody and a legit contender
SF 49'ers looking good and alegit contender
Only team not doing very well is my Vikings but they are hanging around
Ya....its the end of the world
So, you grew up in Indiana, SF and Minnesota? :cool

Mariota is nothing like Manziel.
Lou Holtz will be beaming if they get the #1 spot.

I think Mariota is getting no love at all. He's not perfect. But look at Oregon's season and the scoring onslaught they've had. Who the hell you think was at the wheel all season? The media tends to get all over the nuts of these QB's when they knock off one good team or have one good outing. The Heisman talk starts getting thrown around prematurely. Look at Geno Smith. Where's he at now? WV is focking 5-5. They were all over his nuts cuz they beat Baylor 70-63, then barely squeeks by Texas, then what? 5 game skid. It should be all about consistency and the performance of the WHOLE season.
I just became the biggest SC/UCLA fan in 1 week. I would love to see Oregon get a shot at Bama. Notre Lame will lose by 30 against the Tide.
So will Oregon.
They had a shot against an SEC team two years ago in the championship. That didnt work out well for the Ducks.

Poor play calling , just like the Stanford game . Best team in the nation IMO
Getting beatdown play after play will make it look like that sometimes. Playing the PAC12 north just doesnt prepare you for the SEC.

Revisionist history of a hater...to refresh you're memory...
Oregon loses to Stanford...
NOTRE Dame beat Stanford.
Oregon seems to have trouble with fast/physical defenses.
Christ, what team doesn't struggle against fast physical defenses? Stanford is pretty good you know. They are not Pitt!
Somebody still all butt hurt...over losing to a 3 touchdown underdog...
Good news for ya...
Oregon can still go to the Rose bowl...and face a big/plodding/slow Big 10 team, like maybe a 5 loss Wisconsin team
They can beat em by 50...and you can come chest thumping about how badass they are.
Bottom line,
All they had to do was take care of business.
They didn't.
Fans of SEC get off to being a SEC fan. Break up and redistribute the SEC if you really want to see fair balance judging.
A team in the SEC can have 3 losses and still be in the BCS top 10. They look a lot better than they are because they are only 3 maybe 4 good teams to play.
The SEC plays a specific kind of football and are good at it. However, get them outside of their comfort as in the Alabama - Texas A&M game and you will see what they truly are, a one dimensional football team.
Oregon is another example of a one dimensional team. If their offense doesn't put up 40 plus points they are going to loose the game becasue they have no defense.
USC has no chance against ND especially with Barkley being out. If you want a legitimate well rounded college team this year you only have to look to ND :champagne::champagne:
We think we are the best?
Yep, we do. All the way to another title. 3-4 good teams? Please. WASU, Washinton, etc? Nice conference. If you run through Bama, Ole Miss, Miss State, LSU, Georgia, the real USC and Florida, then talk. I was being somewhat nice, but the PAC 12 is not even the second best conference.
Also, Oregon lost dude. OT, field goal, whatever. You lost. You were beaten by Nick Fairley and Cam Newton. 2 against 22. Whew, now I am tired. :cool
:smackhead
:smackhead you missed the point entirely, you can not play out of conference once every five years and say you are clearly better than everyone else. Go take a nap. :champagne::champagne:

I said I was tired, notice the smiley face? Auburn might as well be in the local Community College conference.... :grumble:
ultrajet...you took the words out of my mouth. If a last second field goal is how you show domination over another conference...I would reevaluate my life... There are a few great teams in the SEC. The rest of them are garbage. At least in most other conferences, Conference games actually mean something, and are relatively good.
Barkley being out may be a blessing. If Kiffin doesn't handcuff Witteck it may end up being a lot closer game than most are thinking.

To LSU's credit they have shown balls and played out of their comfort zone the past couple years and have been successful ( Oregon and UW). Georgia learned the hard way last season against Boise st. and has since dissolved it's agreement with Oregon for a home/away. Official word is that this was a mutual decision between the two schools. Until we have a system that doesn't guarantee the PAC 12/big 10 the rose bowl and the SEC the sugar bowl we will never really know who the real champion is. Hopefully the 4 team playoff will work out but I can't help but doubt it.
Nebraska having a hard time stuffing the 4-7 Iowa.............. Losing 7-3 in the 3rd. Better sack up before they blow a shot at the Rose Bowl to rep the weak ass Big Ten.
Just curious...
With Chizic<sp about to be shown the door, and now the NCAA looking into allegations, who's Auburn gonna target to fill the coaching vacancy?
Fuck no kidding.

Get this.............. UCLA will face Stanford for a rematch in the PAC12 title game if they lose Saturday. But what if Stanford and Oregon both win Saturday? Will Stanford jump Oregon in the rankings? They would get the Rose Bowl if they win the PAC 12. And then Oregon would still get another BCS bowl game. I'd rather see that. Cuz the Big Ten ain't gonna put up shit for a Rose Bowl opponent. :thumbsdown
Is it 5:00 yet. Fight On!!!!!
