Gotta admit. UA looks damn good.

Bama looked good. Not to discredit them, I think Michigan is a tad overrated. Last year too. They blew it against Michigan St. and weak ass Iowa. :thumbsdown Michigan QB sucks. I hope Arkansas finally beats Bama this year. :skull

Also,
I just got my cornhole boards from Chevellesv406 here. He does a killer job and is cheap. IMO, these are the best boards out. You can have him make you some sucky PAC 12 boards though if you want. :D

I need to order me a set of those in Alabama colors set up. Nice

the tide looked real good last night defensively and offensively. A.J. Looked strong and confident!

High School foot ball started.
State champ Sierra Canyon beat El Camino in a sell out game. Sierra Canyon has an all-inclusive team. Any student that wants to be on the team is, and gets to play too.
Amazing.

Sierra Canyon hits the big time, beating perennial City contender El Camino Real

The Trailblazers won their 17 th consecutive game and did it in easy fashion in a 34-20 victory against the much-larger El Camino Real on Friday at Granada Hills High.

Sierra Canyon started the game in impressive fashion as Kieran Yancy returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown.

"I saw daylight on the path to righteousness," Yancy said. "I was looking for an opening, saw a wave of guys coming at me and cut back."

It was only a sign of things to come.

Xavier Menifield, a Northwestern-bound running back, rushed for a 25-yard touchdown, caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Andre Nunez and rushed for a 7-yard touchdown with 2:02 remaining in the first half.

The Trailblazers took a 28-6 lead into halftime and were feeling great.

"We played great, especially in the first half," Sierra Canyon coach Jon Ellinghouse said. "There is no doubt Xavier is a stud. He is our workhorse. He hasn't practiced in a month and a half. He has been nursing a hamstring injury."

Menifield finished with 104 yards on 12 carries and caught four passes for 35 yards.

"I had to do it for my teammates," Menifield said. "They believed in me. We had a chance to prove ourselves again tonight and I think we did that."

The game got away from ECR early and the Conquistadores had to try and dig themselves out of a big hole.

The opening-kickoff return wasn't good and Brandon Heicklen couldn't handle the snap on a punt in the second quarter that led to Menifield's touchdown reception two plays later.
"We gave them 14 points," ECR coach Kevin Williams said. "Our second half was much better. We ran out of time."

Williams was impressed with Sierra Canyon despite his own team's mistakes.

"The skill guys are good and they have good speed," Williams said. "We didn't schedule them because they are a small school. We put them on the schedule because they are a state champion. They played like that tonight."

Greg Morton rushed for 82 yards on 15 carries and scored a touchdown to lead the Conquistadores (1-1).

Destin Cabatbat added 54 yards on 11 carries and Tyson Jones had an 8-yard touchdown run in the third.

ECR made the score closer in the waning seconds when Jaylon James returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

The score came after the second 29-yard field goal of the fourth by Trailblazers' kicker Noah Zgrablich.

Ellinghouse was impressed with Nunez.

The first-year starter completed 12 of 17 passes for 166 yards and one interception.

"He really managed the game well," Ellinghouse said. "He can be a stud in our system."

Greg Morton is a Senior and I think will be playing at North Western next year.
He played every down, offense and defense.
It was a hell of a game.

Nice write up TPC. A buddy of mine played and coached out there. I didnt know him then but they say he was a legendary QB. I think he coached at Sierra Canyon just before he passed away.

I'm no USC fan, but that receiver( lee?) was out of his mind last night. That kick off return was solid.

I will say I don't see the hype of Barkley. His receivers made him look like a star last night. Number 12 pick at best ;)

LET'S GET BACK TO BUSINESS HERE, FELLAS.

Upsets:

Oregon State over Wisconsin - AWESOME. Suck it, Bucky.

Louisiana-Monroe over Arkansas - i'm conflicted. I've always had a thing for the pigs, but it's nice they're totally put of any real bowl and leave the Tide with one less real contender.

Arizona over OK St - BEAR DOWN!! Pistol Pete ain't shit without Weeden and Blackmon!

UsuCkLA over Nebraska - heartbreaking. UCLA? Really, Huskers? Really?

PAC12 slappin up some Big10 and Big12 shit. :thumbsup:D

I didn't get to see shit on Saturday cuz I was cookin' all damn day at a family bbq. So Nebraska's starting QB went out in the game huh? Is that what hurt them? Wonder if he'll be back for Saturday's game against Bama. Boy, that timing would sure be perfect if Bama lost to an Arkansas team that just got bumped completely out of the Top 25. Let's go Arkansas!!! :skull:skull:D

Big games this week.............

USC/Stanford - No Andrew Luck, no chance to win. :D
Bama/Arkansas - Arkansas Upset of the season. :skull
Florida/Tennessee - Always a good rivalry. Who will bump out who?
Notre Dame/Michigan St. - If ND can upset MSU like they did last year, it will give them some clout. I would love to see a ranked ND play USC at the end of the season. ND could possibly jump close to #10 if they do it.

McCarron will continue being badass and throw a ton of TDs. The pigs don't stand a chance after Saturday's performance, even if it is in Fayetteville.

I don't know man. They didn't look too convincing against Boise St. Then again, Boise St. didn't look too convincing against them either. :D Another upset this year would be good for ND. I think they would even replace MSU in the ranking if they pull it off.

I don't have much faith in ND. no pun intended. :D

Doesnt matter who is missing, they dont have a shot against Bama.

I call bs. First half, bama looked average at best only capitalizing on lame qb mistakes to score. Totally different ball game without all those mistakes. And I dont really give the bama D credit for it.
