Depends on where you are but roughly $650ish - if real

However those may not be real Cubans - its possible they are counterfeit.

https://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/how-to-spot-a-fake-cohiba-19545

Notice many of the things they mention in the Cigar Aficionado article do not appear to be correct. However they are showing the band not the box - I would think some of those same things would be on the box???

An Esplendido is a run of the mil churchill sized cigar that can be very good but becomes hit and miss as there are so many fakes and counterfeits given its price and popularity.

You can buy a box (25 cigars) in Canada for about 1500 canadian or about 1150 US.

You can, at least for now, bring cuban cigars into the US on your person as long as they are for personal consumption and not for re-sale.

Although you can buy them online and they will mostly turn up by UPS, if customs catches you, you will lose your "Trusted Traveler", and "Global Entry" status if you have it.

Here is a video to help you determine if they are real or fake.

Enjoy! Maybe pick yourself up a nice bottle of whisky or brandy to accompany!

Lol that’s what my buddy said. Go celebrate the promotion. Only problem is I haven’t had a drop of alcohol in a couple years [emoji51]

What's the date of production on the back? The warning label looks sketchy.
Awesome score if they are real.

I’ll look when I go back upstairs. I’m not worried about them being fake. More just curious what they are worth.

about 700-750 a box, if real.......I have some, good stick......look on the green stamp and their will be a number you can run through habanos verification site.. http://www.habanos.com/en/verificacion-de-autenticidad/?age-verified=22d306a327 .....will tell what authorized dealer sold them .......bands on the cigars are another giveaway......new prod have hologram behike style bands.....fakes usually, but not always, have poor quality, old style cohiba bands..............esplendidos are one of the most faked, although the cohiba behikes are more expensive.so look for that to change.......and for god's sakes, put them in a humi........those boxes are not airtight....the cedar breathes.....they will be dry as f@ck and oils will be gone..........anybody who buys esplendidos and doesn't know that, I have to question ......

would not be surprised if all 4 had the same code.......

Still pretty confident. Buddy is from Cuba and his brother is the one that brought them back. Stranger things have happened though

Jesus you read my mind just then hahahahaa

Romeo an julietas are still good smokes IMO...cohibas are better but its all personal preference really IMO....I 100% agree that I wouldn't dare light one of those till they sat in a humi for awhile...I'm sure they're dry as shit sorry to say

fakes can come from cuba...............the code on the box provided was not the code for the box......either the seal was faked(why not fake it to be a cohiba?) or it was a legit seal, taken from the cigar manufacturer, and there are many manufacturers........this one was RyJ.......get the box code on the back and you can lookup the factory.......they intermingle..............the easiest way to fake the seals is to get from habanos manufacturer......don't have to fake the holograms that way......then you put on a box of farm cigars(local rolled and smoked stix}.........customer doesn't know he can check, so it doesn't matter if it is for that box or not....they'd never know

but yes, some could be real............but I highly doubt it now.......wanting them to be real is different than them being real......
and I wasn't implying he is the thief or faker..........but you never know......people do anything when they need money........turn 100 into a couple grand

So how do you know this?
He just got back. Does this to pay for the trip basically. But I can’t be 100% especially if there’s some funny business going on now.

Nothing to gain by lying to me but now I am more curious than in as before. I was just wondering how much someone could make with a box. The more I read the more I’m realizing how serious of a “hobby” this cigar thing is.

fyi........no need to get a humi just for those.......if he is not a reg smoker, just get a sealing tupper container and throw some boveda packets in there with the box........a humidor needs to be seasoned before using......takes 3 days to 2 weeks depending.......tupper ready now..........boveda 65rh will do.....a couple 60 gram ......give them a month and take a look see......and they prolly gonna split.......some of those farm rolls are legit in their own right...just don't have the recognized name..........enjoy!

I brought a dozen home from Cuba in '16, friend got them straight out of the shop

Cost me $12 ea,

Got home and checked the WWW.........found them online from Canada, $45 ea

I'm not a frequent cigar guy but my buddies tell me they were the smoothest smoke they've ever had
