Starbucks Vanilla Ground coffee with vanilla stevia.

My wife gave up the creamers and I stopped black coffee for this. Tastes great, almost like dessert but no calories.

There was a thread last year and coffee and there was some good discussion.

I like Peet's for everyday use. Ground fresh, by me, and brewed in a coffee press.

Right at this moment I'm drinking Starbucks Verona. Made the exact same way, except cold in the fridge for a day or two.

I tried Death Wish awhile back, good stuff, but too expensive.

I'm gonna try Black Insomnia next and see how that one is.

I like dark roasted coffee, with a hint of chocolate.

@Racey had some good suggestions too.

I've been doing Lavazza in the Aeropress on the regular, it's fast to make, and easy to clean up. I put a sprinkle of kosher salt in when i brew it, like maybe 10 grains, really opens up the flavors and balances it.

If I'm not crazy busy i will grind beans, but i have been absolutely slammed lately and preground Lavazza is pretty damn good and so much easier when time is of the essence.

I don't do black coffee, i do a little bit of dark brown sugar and a splash of heavy cream.

That's something I forget to mention...

I add sugar in the raw and sweetened condensed milk. Daily mix.

+

I'll add white chocolate syrup and Kalua or Bailey's on the weekends.

Caffeine and alcohol. Is there anything better?? LoL

Yum.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

Speaking of shots...

I dig Espresso too once in awhile too. I've realized you can fine grind pretty much any bean to make it. Cafe-Bustello pre ground is easy easy to do.

For sure, Bustello is pretty earthy in flavor, kinda smells like cow shit if you sniff the can 😂 works good for making cubanos in a moka pot with the espuma sugar

all of the Lavazza stuff is espresso grind, don't try it in a french press lol.

I know it might sound crazy, but this instant espresso is unbelievably good, best part is it dissolves in cold water so you can make iced coffee in the summer time in about 15 seconds.

Is it a normal store thing? At the river, I'm the only one who drinks coffee, so I don't brew a pot. I've tried instants, but haven't found any that dissolved well. Ended up being like crunchy "cowboy coffee"

Been on this over a year now.
Was drinking Don Francisco before and tried most mentioned here (except Raceys Vietnamese) and liked it. Not so much anymore, lol.

Years ago, while living in California and visiting Montana every chance I could, I was having Montana Coffee Trader's Coffee shipped to the ranch by the 5-pound bag. At some point, I stopped and alternated between various medium roast blends, Francisco, Peets, etc. When I visited Montana, I would pick up a couple of bags of MTC to bring home, but I didn't pay the expense of having it shipped. About 5 years ago, I started ordering the BRC coffee. I liked the Just Black or Coffee or Die. I've tried several other blends but just kept coming back to those. Now that they've gone public and we are Montana residents, I went back to the local Montana company to support my community. If you're ever in NW Montana, I suggest you skip the Starbux and hit up Montana Coffee Traders in Whitefish or Columbia Falls. Their roasting facility is in Whitefish. They also sell it at the local supermarkets. Montana Blend or Grizzly Blends are both good middle-of-the-road choices, but they have a multitude of varieties.

The old Breville is still kicking.
Shopping replacements though.

As far as beans, I stopped over paying for BRC the day Evan Hafer told the NYT I was an extremist/ conspiracist and Kyle Rittenhouse was a murderer, and he didn’t want his brand associated with my type. He went so far as to say he would pay my kind to not buy his coffee.
I stopped buying it, he never paid me. Lol
But seriously, I know Starbucks is as fucked up as you can get, but at least they don’t lie to me! Lol
I try other small brands all the time. But it’s hard to beat Starbucks for the price.
BRC is consistently the highest priced “major” brand on the shelf or on line, and now that Evan is too big to fail he’s not concerned about his customer base, only his company base.

Medaglia D'Oro Espresso Instant Dark Roast Coffee - 2oz

Another Medaglia D-Oro fan here.

I like it cold as well. I use one Teaspoon scoop of the coffee, one scoop of sugar, some water to mix it with the little battery frapper thing, then ice and an inch of milk on top. Delicious and fast.

My wife actually loved this coffee when we went to Bali. I couldn’t get myself to try it
I had the lemon tea since I'm not a coffee drinker but my son and wife enjoyed the luwak stuff. Daughter didn't try it either.
Cute little critters though.🙂

I've been brewing my coffee with a french press for the last couple of years. I grind the beans with an electric grinder, boil the water and make myself some great coffee. I really like LavAzza coffee and I will buy it when it's on sale. Currently going through a bag of Starbucks Pike's Place, excellent coffee, I will pour in a little Dunkin' Donuts real sugar creamer.

Don Francisco's Vanilla Nut. Folgers....my grandparents drank Folgers by the gallon daily, it's what I think of when I taste coffee lol!
Don Francisco's Vanilla Nut - I used to by vanilla nut whole beans from Seaside Market in Del Mar, which are great, but this actually seems better, so no more grinding.

Anyone try Wandering Bear cold brew coffee on tap? I’m thinking of the vanilla chai flavor. I’m wanting to get it for the Glamis trip so I can make iced coffees easier, but it’s $40 for 16 glasses.

Lavazza crema aroma. Best espresso I've had

I've been doing Lavazza in the Aeropress on the regular, it's fast to make, and easy to clean up. I put a sprinkle of kosher salt in when i brew it, like maybe 10 grains, really opens up the flavors and balances it.

I think I've drank coffee from 90% of those mentioned on this thread. I wouldn't consider myself a "coffee person" as I'll drink pretty much anything form low end to high end. I'll drink pretty much any coffee - peets, starbucks, CB&T, nespresso, k-cups, espresso, cappaccino, folgers all the ones mentioned in this thread from a pot, press or machine...Whatever. I like my coffee with a little half and half and a littel sugar in the raw. I drink it mostly as a food replacement. drink a couple cups in the morning instead of eating and sometimes drink it for lunch, like today I plan on getting a cafe americano and a couple egg bites. Also drink it to stay awake for shift work. while I don't consider myself a coffee expert, I have been drinking it pretty much every day for 30 years. All variations, all types and I'll tell you what, the best coffee I've ever had is Lavazza. It's from Italy and sold in most groceries. It is popular the world around and is the #1 selling coffee in Italy (which is a huge coffee drinkers country). It has a very smooth and distinctive taste. First time I had it was at a kind've nice restaurant and I drank it and said, "DAMN!" grabbed the waiter and asked what it was and she brought over this little vacuum sealed pack. That was it. I still mix my coffee's up and buy something different each time but I do buy lavazza regularly.

I blend a 50-50 mix of LaVazza Espresso Barista & Grand Riserva in a Burr Grinder.
Started buying LaVazza after having it served at Bonanza Cafe in Fort Mohave. Now when several of us ask about having breakfast we say, Lets have Italian in the morning.
And we know where to show up.

The classico or gran aroma if you like a more traditional coffee with more of that distinct bitterness. Gran selezione or Perfetto if you like a smoother more chocolately flavor.

Yep. Racey nailed it. And I would just say when racey says more bitter don’t think like Starbucks style bitter. I actually find them pretty smooth too but definitely a hair less smooth than the others racey mentioned. Over all just a higher grade coffee you should notice.

Edit: funny, I don’t ever go to their website I just buy it at the store but I’m gonna order the dolce vita 5 pack and mug combo! 😁👍

They just changed the packaging, i had to look the names up. Red and Orange used to be the more Classic style roasts (Classico and Grand Aroma), Green and Brown were the super rich smooth roasts Gran Selezione and Perfetto.
