Kit Car, Real Cobra's are Metal. Ac Cobra's were not Made in 67 as far as I know.

That is not a kit car, it's a Superformance made in South Aferica and is a direct copy of the real deal.
It sells for over $100K depending on motor/tranny combo.

Aluminum actually. 67 was the last year. That car looked like the real deal until the crash.

I guy I do work with has an original 427,not painted.Looks bitchen and he drives it alot.The A/C guys did some very impressive work on these cars.

High performance car-Low performance driver..... Superformance has a place in Irvine, I've never seen one with a top as Fugly as that!

A friend of mine (Ted Sutton) who lives in Parker built the first 427 Cobra.

Here are some pix of a another friend sitting in her friends Cobra, this is the 6th car produced with the 427, or so I am told.

"It started with CSX 2196, the unique Cobra offered here. Ted Sutton stuffed a 427 big block into it, and the boss, Carroll Shelby, took it for a test drive (which must have been something to see). He came back with the concise instruction, "make it a race car." Nearly every component in the car had to be strengthened to withstand the power and torque of the four-barrel NASCAR 427."
