Closed engine compartment: can I run MFI on my blown 572?

I know there are alot of "smart engine guys" here....so.....can I? Or will I run into problems with the Coast Guard inspector or boat insurance company if I do this? A spark arrestor on the "HAT" of course, adequate ventilation and fire extinguisher system in place...... Possible or just go carbs? Thanks :beer

EFI is expensive($5K)...on a budget. And besides I'm "old school".
This the motor I'm changing to a blower.....
