It’s amazing the g-force when you spin like that. A few years ago I was going up river from the Avi and went to turnaround. I was not going fast at all and barely on plane and had to give it a little gas to complete the turn and it got loose. I barely even did a 180* from where it got loose, and I thought I was getting pitched.

Glad he stayed in it and hope all is OK.

His wife was not happy, LOL. She told my wife someone else spun the same day, and got ejected and broke a knee.
He told me he did not shit his pants, he was too clenched up trying to hang on and stay in the boat.

If he's going to continue river racing it would be a real good idea to add a kill switch w/lanyard to his body to help prevent a runaway boat should he actually hit the pool as Dana put it. They also work as a good theft prevention method on the water.
