well after a long summer of putting this boat back together and blowing the original 260 Mercruiser on the first run due to a good old trash bag in the intake she’s back in action. I had Timmy down at Dirty Deeds pull the old motor out and put a brand new Mercruiser H/O small block in it and beefed up the outdrive. The boat runs an honest 65 mph and is unbelievable on fuel economy. I’m running a 3 blade 19 pitch mirage stainless prop and we installed an outdrive shower to keep the top end cool. I went through a full tank of fuel for the 5 days we were in Parker. Impressive in my opinion. Thank you to all of you who helped me out on this forum for wiring advice and interior questions. I truly couldn’t have done this without your knowledge. When guys with big dollar Schiada’s come over and admire your boat you know you have something special.
