It's a long ways away from me too. Probably have to put it on a flatbed trailer to bring it down here. I don't think I'd trust that trailer for a 400 mile tow down the I5.

The boat is lighter than 2 wave runners on a single axle trailer. I don't see a problem with towing it....I would just make sure there is a spare tire

I would agree, if you had a spare and if the trailer is in decent shape the drive would be no problem. I towed mine to the river, granted only 250 miles, with almost the same set up and had no issues....Other then forgetting it was back there from time to time....

I drove up to Davis and bought it yesterday. Nice boat but not beautiful. Towed it back to San Luis Obispo area. No problems with trailer. The motor would not stay in the up position, so had to strap it up. Needs a lot of cleaning, but no major damage.

Warning to everyone, do not make any deals with the one listed on Craigs list out of LA. It was on Ebay a few months ago and he was asking almost 6k for it. Had five offers and countered at 4,700. Said he had it sold. Now comes up in Craigs list with the exact add as was on Ebay. Now asking 5,000 and was offered 4,900 but is wanting more money. Still does not have a title.
