I'm putting some new fenders on the trailer, but need(or would like) to have them chromed. There's a shop here in Visalia, but they want $325 per fender, I can get stainless for less. Anyone have a chrome shop suggestion? Travel isn't an issue.

Stainless is the answer.

It can also be polished to guarantee 4th degree burns on eyes and legs. :)

When the trailer falls apart, the fenders will sit on top of the tires.

I can get steel for $100 or stainless for $600, might have to just paint the steel.

I had my fenders powder coated in a Silver/Chrome. They looked nice until I had 3 flats...

I would think chrome proper will be at least $200 a fender.

At $400 you are $200 away from a lifelong part.
