We were just there 2 weeks ago. Had a great Mexican dinner in town. Did the train thing. Glad I had some Bourbon to keep me relaxed in all the lines and people. Neat little town though.

You might try Fiesta Mex Grill in Williams. Awesome chili rellenos

We are here in Williams as well. Doing the polar express train thing tonight. Brought the toy hauler and staying in the Rv park next to the train station. They wanted something like $300 a night for the hotel or $60 a night for the Rv park. No brainer

We book it as a package…like the day they open for reservations every year.. it’s food, train, and hotel. For 11 (kids/adults 2 families plus my mom and in laws) of us it runs around $1700 for two suites, the dinner/breakfast and night trail tickets every year.

Their bar makes good late night Christmas drinks lol…

Love Williams! We took the kids out there last Spring Break and really enjoyed the town. We camped at the KOA and it was great. I would really like to bring our buggies up there and check out some of the off-roading.

There is a cool restaurant called the Frontier that was super cool. They had good food and beer and lots to keep the kids entertained outside if its not to chilly.

A lot of fire roads but you can get to Sedona or Jerome or Grand Canyon
Been boondocking here for over 20 years but sold the rv a couple years ago and bought a home

Essentially… mak is at the age she loves it, and I’m a big fan of the polar express story/experience. For roughly $150 a person Imo it’s a solid overnight experience when kids are little. Probably do it one or two more years then she’ll grow out of it.

Well if it makes you feel. Better I never had one lol.

Was there Nov 18th. That buffet was horrible at the lodge.

Oh I never said it was great....makes the Griswold's Vegas Vacation buffet look like a Michelin star restaurant...but its there and it makes a turd. Unfortunately they don't let you opt out of paying for that...

We did Williams Az for 5 years in a row for the polar express train ride and the North Pole experience in flagstaff. Missed this year unfortunately.
