Wait…..so other places don’t have this sort of thing as a regular occurrence also?

Reason I am asking is I have lived here for so long we just accept it as a normal part of our day.

But they do have the best fireworks shows at night though in Oakland. I was just telling my kid we should go watch it last nite …..from a distance though. New years is gonna be off da hook…..

BTW everyone here knows to stay away from Oakland after dark. The sideshows are a free for all.

Happens here in Orange County as well but I’ve never seen or heard it in person. Then again I live in a bubble in orange.

Yeah, California has lower crime rates because they don't prosecute criminals anymore unless they are really bad, then they put them in a cell for 48 hours and tell them, "Now you sit here and think about what you just did", and since there's no bail on the "underserved" they get out with no repercussions. And the idiots that run this state think that's okay, it's all part of their progressiveness - it's too bad that none of the crime that they allow never seems to happen to them. It's happened to a couple, but never to any of the high ranking ones.
Yep, you want to research something scary, look up the new PRCS laws in California. We have plenty of LEO on here that will agree and know what I'm talking about.

This thread is a great example of the study of human behavior. It’s eye opening who doesn’t see an issue with this and yet deflects.

I like threads like this because it lets you know who is who when the written word in a forum format can, at times, make it difficult to weed out who people are at their core.

So what other countries are people potentially looking at to leave?

Columbia is pretty high on my list..

If I was your age, I'd be looking at New Zealand.

On old folks are allowed to move there. 🙁
