It's federal money, it took a couple years to get a good system in place and our supervisors and superintendents have the department running on all 8 now, it's a good tight group of crews. Crews that work 7 days a week can get almost 3 ramps done a week and the crew that only work 5 days a week get 2 done. That's from cutting the concrete to washing down the completed jobs site. While I don't know the exact number but I believe we are over 98% on our work. It's a pretty awesome department to work for.

Yeah, California has lower crime rates because they don't prosecute criminals anymore unless they are really bad, then they put them in a cell for 48 hours and tell them, "Now you sit here and think about what you just did", and since there's no bail on the "underserved" they get out with no repercussions. And the idiots that run this state think that's okay, it's all part of their progressiveness - it's too bad that none of the crime that they allow never seems to happen to them.
