Barry is a busy man and has no time to be working on trucks out in the middle of the Arizona Outback. 😁

I wouldn't even ask him to help me with something like this. He's been bugging me to get my boat running even make space in his garage when that time comes but I've always got an excuse.

This one is a bring a trailer deal. I just thought I'd post it here before it went on facebook.

My guess without any diagnostic is the fuel selector switch is bad or the Starter is not energizing the system. These are both guesses and only that. I pulled the switch but kept forgetting to grab a new one while in the OC. I should go to Parker auto and get one but what the hey, if I can save two bits I'll do it! :)

ps; email sent.
Thanks

How far out is the registration?
I would say about 18 years. I never registered it after I drove it to AZ. I used it to water my runway for a brief time until I found out that mother nature could do in ten minutes what took me 10 hrs. to accomplish. Last registered in Ca. Purchased at Dmello as I recall and been in Ca. or az since new.

Is it TBI or does it have the quadra-bog carb?

The Bilge Idiot ? :)

yes,TBI

How do you think he lost his thumb?

There is a fuel pump activation module under the distributor cap. I've had them fail on numerous GM TBI engines. It is an easy replacement.
