I call bullshit on that. I think conservatives have a different approach. I believe in opportunity, personal achievement and accountability. Dont blame others for your problems when you havent properly used the options available.

We believe in the family unit. There is nothing worse than single parenthood for the economic welfare and opportunity provided to children. The is a self inflicted wound. Seventy five percent of black children are born to single mothers. As this number has grown so has the other problems affecting blacks.

Education is a key to success but it is hard to be as involved as needed when you are a single parent. Education starts at home well before becoming school age but also after school age. If you dont have the time or the passion to see to your kids are educated they are at a disadvantage. Further the dems and the teacher unions have controlled public education for decades.

Drug use and moral values another problem. Minority communities complain about white privilege but I see morals or should I say lack of them as impediments. Drug use and being dishonest , as evidenced by criminal records , create a cycle of lack of achievement. Conservatives cant fix the issues.

Gangs and violence are major obstacles. Gang members not only waste their own lives but become a major detriment for the overall community. This is in full view in democratically controlled cities.

Conservatives are more likely to support school vouchers. A chance to provide educational opportunities different from the failing public schools.

Welfare for the many is viewed as a way of life but it is really a life sentence of poverty. Welfare has to be viewed it as a temporary crutch. You cant build anything of success from welfare. There is not path of advancement or achievement. No job the leads to promotions, self growth etc. For many it is sitting around drinking and doing drugs.

For those treating substance abuse they use a term enablers. Many government programs are enablers. They allow the self defeating actions continue and to drag you lower.

The breaking of the cycle will have to come from within but I think so many of those in that community as so broken they just drag the next generation down with them.
