I first saw it during the Football Game, Sunday evening and now it ran again on FOX. A Daughter Restored a Blue, I believe a 66 Impala Convertible for her Father, then hung a Picture of his Late Wife and her Mother from his rearview Mirror for him before their first ride together.

IMO this is the Best Ad I have seen in years.

Hit home for me…lost my wife nearly six years ago and still miss her every minute of everyday.
Would do anything for another day on the water making a 100 mile an hour pass with her laughing.

yes great commercial/story and it really hit home for me as I am doing that exact same thing for my neighbor right now, my neighbor/friend of 20+years, my age just passed away the other week, heart attack then got covid in the hospital...The entire family walked over and asked if I could and how much I would charge to finish his build of a 69' f-100.....oh boy talk about pressure LOL, it didn't take a second for me to say yes and not a penny. The parts are all here now and the work begins this weekend...I will start a thread next week so you all can follow the progress.

At 65 years of age, this hits me harder than it would have when I was younger. Great commercial, free of any social justice BS.

Funny, my girlfriend just asked this weekend, of all the cars I've owned, which one would I like to have back again. Without skipping a beat, I said my '66 Impala. We actually went online and found some '66 SS 396 Impala's for sale. They are not cheap but maybe I'll get a nice Christmas surprise!

You know it was some younger generation group who developed this story and commercial. Kudo’s to Chevrolet and the team in their media/marketing department who had the fortitude and vision to produce this during a time in our country that appears so uncertain at times.

The ad tells a beautiful story.... but ... Chevrolet is in the business of selling new vehicles. This ad looks back at their legacy but I think they need to be looking forward. I don't think to many people will be buying a new car/Truck based on memories of a car from the 60's.

I saw this one a couple weeks ago and couldn't stop laughing, the look on the little girl's face is priceless. TV version is condensed.

Outstanding commercial. Brought back many good memories. Here's my Impala from the era. 1965 Chevy, I bought it used, low miles, in about 1969 for $1,800. Put over 100 K miles on it. Good car.

The Chevy commercial was great!

The saving Simon commercial reminded me of my daughter summer.. that is something she would do.

Good for them. Trying to be all American again. 👍

Not going to get me to buy one. But 1000x’s better than Jeep’s pathetic Springsteen add.

Weird ad. It had white people, and they weren't gay or transgendered.
Bugs me that we even have to acknowledge that.
Reminds me of my summer after hi school.
Spent a week in Oregon camping fishing back roaring in my buddies 65 SS sittin LA on supremes. Not your typical Oregon car with long hairs in it.
